Trisha Wooley
Trisha Woolley Anderson

 

Dr. Trisha Woolley Anderson is a Professor of Management at the School of Business Administration at Texas Wesleyan University.

She received a Ph.D. in Business  Administration with a concentration in Management Science at the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts Amherst in February 2010.

She received her BS in Computer Information Systems
and an MBA from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY.

In 2016, Dr. Anderson was awarded the Engaging Educator Award from Texas Wesleyan University.

She was selected as the 2013 General Board of Higher Education and Ministry of the United Methodist Church (GBHEM) exemplary teacher for 2013. Dr. Anderson received a monetary award and the honor to speak at the Fall commencement ceremony.

In 2011, Dr. Anderson received the John Maddux, Jr. Faculty Award from the School of Business at Texas Wesleyan University.

During the 2004-2005 academic year, Trisha taught undergraduate and graduate level business courses at Marist College.  Previously, she taught a variety of math and business courses at Dutchess Community College in Poughkeepsie, NY. 

Her research interests include various network systems such as supply chain networks and electric power networks with a focus on environmental and marketing aspects.

She was the UMass Amherst INFORMS Student Chapter Speaker Series Coordinator for 2006-2007 and for 2007-2008.  In 2007, 2008, and 2009, Trisha received an Outstanding Service Award from the UMass Amherst INFORMS Student Chapter for her work as the Speaker Series Coordinator.
