Biography:

Samirasadat Samadi is a Ph.D. student in Operations Management at the Isenberg School of Management, University of Massachusetts Amherst. She holds a Master of Business Administration in Operations and Supply Chain from the University of Tehran, Iran, completed in 2020. Prior to that, She earned her bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with a major in Control from Hamedan University of Technology in 2017.

She received an Outstanding Applicant Award in Management Science from the Isenberg School of Management in 2023.

She has been actively involved in the UMass Amherst INFORMS Student Chapter since September 2023.

Her research interests are: Supply Chain Management, Healthcare Optimization, Humanitarian Logistics, and Mathematical Modeling.

Outside of her academic interests, she enjoys photography.
