Ismael M. Pour | |

Biography:
Ismael M. Pour is a Ph.D. student in Operations Management at the Isenberg School of Management, University of Massachusetts Amherst. He received his PhD in Transportation Planning and Engineering from Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 2018, a Master of Science in Transportation Planning and Engineering from Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 2011, and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Iran University of Science and Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 2009. He received an Outstanding Applicant Award in Management Science in 2023 from the Isenberg School of Management PhD Program. He has been an active member of the UMass Amherst INFORMS Student Chapter since September 2023. He served as President of the Student Chapter 2024-2025. His research interests include Supply Chain Networks, Financial Networks, Mathematical Programming, Network Modeling, and Multimodal Transportation. His outside interests are sports, STEM and history videos.
