Biography: Soren Bisgaard is the
Eugene M. Isenberg Professor of Technology Management. His research
interests include Technology Management, Product Development,
Statistics, Design of Experiments, Process Monitoring and Optimization,
Quality Technology and Quality Management. Professor Bisgaard joined
the Isenberg School of Management the Fall Semester of 2002. He
also holds a part-time position as Professor of Business and Industrial
Statistics at University of Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Before he
joined the University of Massachusetts he held positions as Professor
at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and the University of St. Gallen
in Switzerland. His most recent publications have appeared in Journal
of Quality Technology, Technometrics, and Quality Engineering. He also
is the founding chair of the European Network for Business and
Industrial Statistics, is currently a Vice President of that Society,
and has been the conference chair for its First and Second Annual
Conference. Professor Bisgaard is a Fellow of the American Society for Quality and was awarded the Shewhart Medal and the William G. Hunter Award. |
